Oeconomia contributed to the mid-term evaluation of the Health System Support Project (PASS) financed and implemented by the Belgian cooperation (ENABEL) in Niger. The objective of this project is to strengthen the health system of Niger through actions aimed at improving access and quality of primary health care for the benefit of the populations of the targeted health districts.
Conducted on behalf of the organization COTA Asbl, the expertise mobilized by Oeconomia focused on the Results-Based Financing (RBF) component of the project and more generally on how it contributes to the process of setting up a health insurance system at the departmental level. To do so, a theory-based evaluation approach was used.
